Sergei Tunin
The Russian artist Sergei Petrovich Tunin (°1942) graduated in 1969 at the Moscow Textile Institute. After graduating he began working for the Scientific Research Institute for Technical Aesthetics and started to publish cartoons.
Since 1976, he worked as an art editor, screenwriter, set designer and art director. Meanwhile he continued to make cartoons, winning several awards with it. Since 1992 he works as a freelance caroonist for the newspaper Kommersant.
In 1984, Sergei Tunin made illustrations for the novel Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol, and in 1990 he did the same for The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.
