Biography
In 2017 we noticed an offer of a box of tarot cards on a Russian website of a certain Maestro Aminofus, pseudonym of Vasily Govorov. The images on the cards turned out to be illustrations of The Master and Margarita, made by Julia Galkina, a young artist from Moscow.
In his comments, Govorov wrote that he had published the cards on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the first publication of the novel. He hoped to attract the attention of «those who appreciate the work of the great writer» and «practicing tarologists, magicians, esoterics and mystics». Also for those who want to «see the depths of being», this card game should be «an indispensable assistant and navigator looking for the truth».
I know nothing about tarot and I have no desire to delve into it, but I do like to look at Julia Galkina's illustrations.
