Vladimir Janovsky
On the website deviantArt, where many young artists show their works to the world, I found a series of illustrations of the first 17 chapters of Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita, created by an artist who presents himself as Voblin.
Further investigation revealed that Voblin is from Volnogorsk in Ukraine, and that his full name is Vladimir Leonidovich Janovsky. More details about him are unknown to me.
