Kacper Bozek
Kacper Bozek (°1974) was bornin Krakow, Poland. He graduated from the Kenar Visual Arts School in Zakopane and the Graphic Department of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, where he produced his final graduation work under Professor Stanisław Wejman in the Copper Engraving and Lithography Studio. His media are printmaking and drawing. He took part in a number of Polish and international art exhibitions and won a number of prizes.
From the inspiration from two Polish Galleries, Nautilus and Czas, the artist started a three-year-long effort which culminated in October 2007 in the completion of a 12 prints portfolio Master and Margarita. The large format prints were made in various techniques (etching, a-quatint, mezzotint, soft varnish) and hand printed and signed by the artist in a unique edition of 113 copies.
