Alexander Semushin

Biography

Alexander Semushin was born in 1952 in Kirov, Russian Federation. In 1976 he graduated from the A.A. Rylov Art school. In the same year he moved to the city of Togliatti.

In 2019, he published more than 70 illustrations of The Master and Margarita in different styles on various platforms. For some scenes of the novel he made different variations, which I did not all find equally successful. Therefore, I present you a selection of the illustrations which, in my opinion, form a beautifully coherent whole together.
