The Russian poet and musician Maksim Prikhodko was born on November 10, 1986 in Togliatti. This city in the south of Russia on the left bank of the Volga River, 95 kilometers west of Samara, was formerly called Stavropol-on-the-Volga. In 1964 it was named after the Italian communist Palmiro Togliatti (1893-1964), who lived in the Soviet Union during the Second World War, and had become the leader of the Italian Communist Party after the war.
Anyway, we're now supposed to talk about the young engineer Maksim Prichodko. In 2005 he graduated from the Technical Faculty of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU). However, this technical background has not prevented him a from having written hundreds of songs at a very young age Most of those songs he recorded himself and distributed them under the pseudonym Diakrisis.
In his music, Prikhodko shows that he knows his classics. He often get his inspiration from literature and refers to writers such as Friedrich Nietzsche and Fyodor Dostoevsky.
On November 22, 2013 he published his second album under the title Demons of Dostoyevsky. The second song on this album is The Master and Margarita, an instrumental of 3’ 15’’.
On vKontakte, the Russian version of Facebook, we also found an unplugged version of 4’ 16’’ of this song with vocals. Unfortunately, we did not succeed in downloading this version.
