Allison R. Barbour

Allison R. Barbour (1978) is an American webcomics artist. She describes herself as follows: «I have a dull full time job and an overactive imagination». This imagination she uses fully in her comic strip project Thistle Salad. She's of Russian origin, but she read The Master and Margarita in English.

In 1999 she adapted a part of chapter 28 - in which Koroviev and Behemoth raise hell in the Torgsin store - to a comic strip of eight pages in Russian. She apologizes for her Russian: «My hasty translations aren't perhaps going to be the most helpful things in the world.»
