New theatre season

The summer is halfway, so traditionally the theatre companies start to announce their programmes for the coming season. Again, there are quite some new productions which have found their inspiration in The Master and Margarita, and some of the successful productions of the past season are being renewed.

France

In the past season, France had one of the highest-rated stage adaptations of Le maître et Marguerite ever. The Théâtre de la Tempête got very good reviews everywhere. After a successful series of 47 performances in Paris and Avignon, their adaptation, directed by Igor Mendjisky, will now start a tour of France with representations in Calais, Nantes and Châtillon, and others are expected.
