David Crandall is living in Baltimore, United States. He is an audio and video engineer, editor, and designer, working in independent narrative and documentary film, commercial television, interactive media, live theater, and music.
In 1994, he got a Masters degree in Communiation at the University of Kentucky. Later, in 1999, he got a MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Imaging & Digital Art at the University of Maryland. Now he works as a Resident sounds and projections designer - and occasionally as an actor - for the Annex Theatre in Baltimore, and as a teacher in audio mixing for music and film at the Towson University.
In 2016, David Crandall wrote the musical score for The Master and Margarita, a play created by Jacob Budenz for the Annex Theatre in Baltimore. The play was represented at the Annex Theatre from May 20 to June 12, 2016, and got very positive reviews. It was listed in the top 5 plays of the 2016 theatre season in the United States.
