Fedoskino
In the late 18th century, the merchant Ivan Korobov started a factory for the production of lacquerware in the village of Danilkovo (now Fedoskino) near Moscow. The factory had a high prosperity, especially driven by Pyotr Lukutin, son-in-law of the founder.
Still today the Art School of the Fedoskino factory delivers new students. The theme of The Master and Margarita is popular on the lacquer objects they produce. On this page you can have a look at the objects of Irina Turbeneova (°1986), Eduard Makarov (°1962), Elena Khomutinnikova (°1957) and Dmitry Rogatov (°1956).
If you are interested, these boxes are not cheap. They cost between 895 and 8,600 US dollar each.
