Margarita's Flight

Margarita starts her flight over the front gates of her house, between the maple branches (blue), into the lane (Sivtsev Vrazhek street). Then she got into another that crossed the first at right angles and passed the kerosene shop (green) to fly to the third lane (Kaposhin street) which, indeed, led straight to the Arbat, close to the Vakhantov theatre (yellow) of which she passed the dazzlingly bright tubes. She makes a stop at the Dramlit house (red) to destroy Latunsky's flat.
Bulgakov situated the Dramlit house in Nikolopeskovsky pereulok, but there actually was no such building on that place. Bulgakov had simply projected another building, finished in 1935, to this spot. This other building was on the other side of the Moscow River in Lavrushinsky pereulok 17, close to the Tretyakov Gallery
